Lake Wildwood - Security

Lake Wildwood employs its own 24/7 security force. Both the main gate and the north gate are manned 24 hours a day and control access to Lake Wildwood. Residents are issued a bar coded sticker which is affixed to their vehicles drivers side rear window. A "reader" automatically opens a barrier in the "residents only" lane. Visitors use the inside lane and must give the guard the name of the person they are visiting to gain entrance. Visitors must be called into the gate in advance.

In addition to the gates, security has roving patrol cars which perform many duties to ensure the safety of the residents. Speed limits are strictly enforced with the use of radar. If any resident needs assistance, the patrol cars can respond immediately to their residence. Security can be notified if a resident will be away from their home for an extended period, in which case, they will increase their normal vigilance on the residence.

The men and women of security force are professionals who are there to protect the residents and their property, aid in any emergency, and to assist in any way they can.

In addition to the security force, there is a fire station located at the main entrance to Lake Wildwood. The fire stations also provides paramedics and an ambulance ready and able to respond to any emergency.
